U.S. Is Lowest Taxed Industrial Country in the World

These were not conservatives protesting in Washington. They are just dumb. Why? Because the U.S. has the lowest income taxes in the industrial world. And secondly, they just got one of the largest tax cuts in the history of our country (as part of the stimulus package).

- How long will it take people to understand that this Republican congress is not there for them - just for the millionaires? Boenner and his fellow Republicans would sooner lay down in front of a train than help the American people. Well, the train ran them over and they grudgingly surrendered.

- I am not one that felt that a big deficit reduction was good for our economy, so I am happy that nothing happened. However, had we really wanted this "super-committee" to work out a deal, it would have been easy.

- Cantor is simply a loser. We have millions of people out of work and effectively he's saying "Let them eat cake". Won't even allow discussion in the house on the jobs bill. Anyone who is without a job and votes Republican deserves what they have.

- Turns out, the Bush Recession was greater than anyone could have imagined. We needed a stimulus double what was implemented. Still, 2.5 million jobs were created / saved with the original stimulus and everyone got a huge tax cut.

- So you support keeping the middle and lower economic classes out of work? You talk about 3 branches of government, but blame Obama for spending. You don't blame congress for approving the budget in the first place.

- It is a ridiculous waste to have to pay people up to $10,000 per year in unemployment, when they are able to work, but companies won't hire. So President Obama's plan to provide credits up to $10,000 per person hired is a great deal for the government, the unemployed, the country and businesses.

- Boehner says he stuck his neck out to negotiate with the President, but who was the one to walk out of negotiations? Boehner. And who has voted to increase the deficit limit EVERY time he voted? Boehner. What a sleeze.
